If you need even more power and capability, the Ram Heavy Duty is available. This includes the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500, which are standouts and have big power and capability. It is showcased not only by the various sizes and options you can find, with trim levels similar to that of the Ram 1500 in terms of onboard amenities, but the added performance under the hood. This includes a 6.4-liter V8 with 410 horsepower as well as 429 pound-feet of torque, with an optional 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine which offers 850 pound-feet of torque for high-level wheel control.
Any Ram Heavy Duty is also a capable tower as the range of maximum towing capacity is at 14,000 pounds to 19,000 pounds. There's also a payload range of 2,300 pounds to 3,200 pounds, with everything based on the engine, bed size, and other capability factors.
